Makeup Tip #1

ImageDid you know that cleaning your makeup brushes every once in a while helps prevent breaking out and acne? Your makeup brushes collect a lot of dirt from sitting in your room, bathroom, being exposed to different beauty products, and from your face. If you don’t clean your makeup brushes, when you use them, the dirt will clog your pores… and poof! breakout!

You do not necessarily need to buy makeup brush cleaning solutions at makeup stores. You can clean your brushes with Johnson and Johnson’s baby soap. A small travel size bottle from Target will last you a while. Baby soap is gentle and will get all the makeup off of your brushes. Just wet the brushes, apply soap, gently scrub, rinse, and let them air dry!
